emP3™ Trypsin Embryo Wash
Our emP3™ Trypsin Embryo Wash is a 1:250 solution of porcine derived trypsin in Hank's solution with a pH indicator. Free of viruses and mycoplasma and is sterile filtered to 0.1 micron.
Trypsin is used in the washing of embryos prior to freezing and transport in order to remove virus on the surface.
Our Handy Trypsin Hint:
Trypsin is a sensitive product. This is why it should remain frozen when not in use. In order to reduce waste, as well as the number of times it is frozen and thawed, try using this method…
- Thaw out the Trypsin.
- Divide the solution into easier to use 0.5 mL Cryo tubes.
- Four of these tubes will fit perfectly into 10 mm aluminum cane, which can then be store in your nitrogen tank.
- As you need trypsin, simply thaw the number of aliquots you need, and the rest will not have to go through the stress of repeated freezing and thawing.
